Galeri Lenggong Geopark

A small gallery for you to learn about the history of Lenggong. It is well air-conditioned making it great if you want something to do in the afternoon. You can see the Perak Man here, nice guy, doesn't talk much.

The gallery at Kota Tampan, sat on top of where a Palaeolithic stone tool workshop was excavated. It covers how the valley was made: granite over two hundred million years old, the meteorite impact, the Toba ash that buried the workshop and preserved it. Free, air-conditioned, and a sensible first stop before you go looking at any of the actual sites.
