Best to visit on Sunday morning, it is one of the busiest markets we have been to. The main wet market in town, running off Jalan Danby and Jalan Pasar. A fire pushed the stalls out of the building and into makeshift shelters alongside it, and that is still how it works. Wet and dry on the ground floor and down both sides. Tell the spice stall what you are cooking and they will blend the paste for you on the spot. It has some of the freshest seafood you can buy and a great place to try local street food.
