Endau
A stretch of coast on the Endau side of Mersing, with Pulau Layak sitting just offshore. It faces east, which is the point. Sunrise comes up straight out of the water, and once it is properly dark the sky opens up. Bring a tripod. Fishing boats and the rocks gives you something solid to put in the foreground, which is what most beach astro shots are missing.
